A full redesign of the corporate site and a new self-service portal for clients — login, a jobs dashboard, a job detail timeline.
Brief
The old corporate site no longer matched how the company looks in 2026. At the same time, B2B clients were asking for self-service, so they could follow the progress of their jobs without calling account managers.
Work
- First phase: a pixel-accurate copy of the old site as a reference point
- A redesign of the typography stack, palette, and photography direction
- Content sections (services, fleet, certifications, contact)
- i18n setup with middleware-based locale routing
- A UI layer with Tailwind and lucide-react — zero extra dependencies
- A login surface in 2 variants (default and an alt for test/QA)
- A portal dashboard: jobs overview, status badges, filters, sort
- A job detail view with a timeline, attachments, and a comms thread
- Role-based UI states (admin / manager / client view)
- Responsive down to tablet — professionals here often open an iPad
Highlight
The maritime sector is conservative. I had to keep the trust and the seriousness while bringing a modern productivity feel to a team that until now lived in spreadsheets and reply-all emails.
